Blogging for prizes!
Okay, I've got news for you! There are two places I know of right now where you can merely post a comment and be eligible to win some very desirable prizes.

The first one is going on RIGHT NOW! Hasten over to
Moonglade Elite Authors and check out the blog! Rachel Carrington is there today, and she'll be giving away some swag. I know the site isn't officially open yet, but we're already getting traffic. Don't miss out on this opportunity!

Then, I encourage you to help me with a month-long party! Yes, celebrate the opening of Liddy Midnight's newly redesigned web site!

Throughout the month of July, each time you post a comment on my blog (that would be right here!), you'll have another chance to win one of a variety of charm bracelets, themed to my stories! Yes, you could be jingling a Blue Moon, Fire and Ice, Yellow Butterfly, Black Dragon or spectrum Elementals bracelet on your wrist. All of these will be awarded, each one to a different lucky winner. Oh, and don't forget her newest design, a Purple Passion bracelet that matches my new site design. Winners will be announced in the August issue of The Stroke, my newsletter.

Along with the redesigned site, I have a new format for my newsletter, The Stroke. One charm bracelet, winner's choice, will be given away to one lucky newsletter subscriber at the end of July! The winner will be announced in the August issue.

I hope to hear from you and see YOUR name among the winners!

Tonight we're going to see Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. I've heard it's too long, akin to Superman Returns, but hey, I'll drink in the sight of Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom for an extra half-hour, no problem! We're going to get there early, because a friend already picked up the tickets and was told by the cashier that that show sold out yesterday. We'd like to sit together.

Don't you hate it when a theater gets full enough that there are only single seats left, scattered all over? That's almost as bad as having to sit in the front row. That kills your neck, you're likely to miss things that happen in the far corners of the picture, and you feel in danger of falling into the screen. Oh, wait, I think there's a story there...

Oooh, I want to see Pirates part II. I love Johnny Depp. I've been on a movie fetish lately and have literally watched fourteen movies in the past three days because I needed a writing break...and a life break! LOL Isn't there something grand about getting lost in a movie and forgetting about your troubles for just a bit?

People were buying tickets the night before down here for Pirates, so I hope you get in!

I haven't been to the cinema since Prince of Eygpt came out!

    HA!

You know, Liddy, I've been lusting after one of these bracelets for years. Maybe this is my lucky month, hm?

Johnny Depp is one of my favorites. The man is an awesome actor. I don't think Pirates has started here in NZ yet. I'm waiting until the school holidays finish. School holidays is not the time to go to the movies! LOL

Pirates II is a wonderful romp! Lots of action scenes, more twists and turns than a pinwheel, and lots of screen time for Johnny and Orlando. W00T!

The only problem is that it just stops. Blam! No closure! Like an old Saturday matinee serial, only I have no idea when the rest is coming. They'd better not wait too long to release Pirates III, is all I can say. Sheesh! I hate it when directors do that!

AngieW, it just might be your lucky month...if you win from the newsletter group, it's your choice of design. Good luck, and thanks for stopping by!

They're already pimping Pirates III -- can you believe?

How have I missed your blog before this, Liddy? It's delightful! I'll lurk more determinedly now.

Liddy, I'm seriously in love with your site and your bracelets. :) They're beautiful!

I think Pirates of the Carribbean: At World's End is coming out next year...if all goes right. So you won't have too long to wait.

You SO have to let us know how it is!! Johnny Depp is a great actor...I just saw Fear and Loathing - AMAZING performance. He really can play those whackos.

LOL - if I'd bother to scroll down through the comments, I'd have seen that you posted your reply.

Dang - now I really have to go see it!!

    Liddyness,
I can't believe I haven't been to your blog before. What was I thinking? I guess I haven't been thinking straight at all. Your updated site looks great and I'm really looking forward to your upcoming book, TRANSFORMATIONS. I'm going to put your blog in my favorites so I can post every day! I, too, can't wait to see POTC 2. And POTC 3 isn't far behind 'cause they filmed them back to back.

I saw it and loved it...of course it satisfied my want to sit back and be thoroughly entertained on the big screen. Plus, that eye candy...ahem...I mean those professional actors Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom...GAH! I could drool, I mean watch them for hours :)
    Hope you enjoyed it!!

Woo-hoo! Thanks for stopping by, everyone!

GAH! I've been off-line for almost two weeks, and you'll hear more about why in this week's Pet Peeve.

I know what you mean about the appealing eye candy, er, outstanding actors, Ann.

Billie, I have no idea which book you should try first. Probably whichever one you can find on the shelf. LOL I'm tickled that you like waht you saw.

What do you like? Futuristics? Dark Ages with magick? Light? Dark? A little guidance would help me out here...

How about the rest of you, got any suggestions for reading order?

Read ELEMENTELS 1 first. Then, pick up EC's DREAMS FROM THE OASIS VOL. 1. And then pick up TRANSFORMATIONS as soon as it's out. :-)

Your newly redesigned web site is beautiful ~ and so are the pictures of the bracelets that you make. Wow! Writing and Jewelry Making ~ I'm envious of such multi-talent. (My husband says my talent is spending money).

I loved Pirates ~ can't wait for the next one.

Billie, I'm so glad your son is fine. Children having any kind of medical problem is scary!

The Dark Ages world I created is paranormal, so you might want to sample the excerpts on my web site. Heroes who are elemental spirits definitely qualify. LOL

    Hugs,
    Liddy

Hi, ChristyJan! Nice to see you here. I hope you feel at home.

Don't fret about being a consumer - you get to take advantage of all the wonderful goods that the rest of the world makes. Remember, they aren't called "goods" for nothing! And if no one bought anything, our houses would be so full of stuff that we made that there'd be no room for us!

    Hugs,
    Liddy
